Since you asked…
…here are the reasons why I blog. There aren’t any Earth-shattering revelations here.
- To communicate about my son although I’m quite behind in posting photos and related stories.
- To inform about an issue or experience I find interesting or relevant.
- To educate about a topic because information is democratic.
- To opinionate such as my “thumbs up/thumbs down” posts.
- To learn how blogging isn’t another Internet gadget but a means to build (social) networks and pierce the news media.
I’d alter these answers, certainly elaborate, if this wasn’t a vanitypersonal blog. Compared to a blog focussed on a particular subject (i.e.: Divester or Engadget), a personal blog is focussed on their creator’s thoughts and deeds which (for me) are far and wide.
