Natives blame toxins for fewer sons: “A Canadian tribal reserve across from Michigan has seen a sharp drop in the number of new sons, and locals tie it to the fact that the area is also the largest petrochemical region in Canada.”

There is a similar problem in our oceans where fish populations are having difficulty because PCB pollution is “de-genderizing” males into females.

More than H2O in tap water

More than H2O in tap water: “Drinking water may have a lot more in it than just H20 and fluoride, according to an environmental group’s analysis of records in 42 states.”

Our government at work. In this case, it’s local government.

Party Hollywood style

blog/martini.jpgI’ve been to a number of parties since my arrival to LA in 1998. Wrap parties, house parties, club parties, etc. All of them had modest guests, thrown in modest apartments/homes, and in modest neighborhoods.

But all that changed on Friday night. I’ve finally joined the Hollywood elite. Well, maybe not that pretentious.

Good thing we’ve got Shamu
