TV trays: sociopath product or sign of the times?
I was surfing the web to find one of the “As Seen on TV” products. In this case, a hospital-style dinner table which slides under your bed and places the tray directly in front of the eater. After some Googling I came across a product with this interesting description:
These classic TV Trays recall those special times when you and your family would share an evening gathered around the television, eating dinner and watching Gun Smoke.
And today, who has time for a “family meal” when channel 64 is showing reruns of Friends? With these classic metal TV trays, you can cozy up to the tube with a piping hot microwavable entrée without missing a moment of your favorite program.
I’m not sure if I should take this as an attempt at satire or an excerpt from the State of the Union address.
