Gadget addiction: the new “second hand smoke?”

Living in LA and doing some business in entertainment, I get the opportunity to go to private screenings. They’re great: private theater, clean floor and seats, no kids, no noise. The attendees are usually professionals in the film industry and respect those around them.

Mobile phone radiation (SAR values)

My mother-in-law sent me an article about cell phone radiation and its impact on humans, particularly children. The FCC allows cell phones to have a maximum of 1.6 watts per kilogram for the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). Ideally you want a phone less than 1.6.

I’ve got a number of GSM phones lying around and figured I see what I’ve been exposing myself to. Of course I use a Bluetooth headset so the phone isn’t always clamped to my ear.
